While we run around today touring more sites, here are some more photographs of the Angkor Wat facilities, brought to you by a pretty cool iPod app, Hipstamatic! Take a look!

Finally! Angkor Wat Pictures!

It took a long time, with our schedule being so packed and busy, but finally, we have our pictures of our adventure to the temples  of Angkor Wat! Included are pictures from the main Angkor Wat temple facility, the Bayon temple facilities (with the faces), and Ta Phrom, the temple with gigantic trees growing out of it.

Ankor Wat

Today we wandered through the historic passageways and courtyards of the Ankor Wat temples. The temple complex has many different unique and famous ruins to explore. Your imagination can run wild with the idea of adventures and tales that took place here throughout history. They seem mystical and exciting. We were able to make it to the first and most famous temple (that's on the background of our website logo) around sunrise (tired and groggy! but still made it!) and watch the gorgeous view of this foreign structure with the colors of the morning sky. We went to two more temple areas that were very unique from each other (including the one from Laura Croft Tomb Raider movie).

Afterward we ate a pizza lunch and had a quick rest at the hotel and managed to still find some time to go out do a little shopping, grab a snack for dinner, have evening worship to welcome the Sabbath, and plan for the activities tomorrow. PRODUCTIVE AFTERNOON! Whew. We are all alive and well, but tired and heading to bed. AMAZING pictures coming soon.

Tomorrow: Heading to Wat Preah Wesu Orphanage to go to church and meet some of the local kids and people.
